Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I pay my monthly HOA dues?
A: Request a link to access your online portal so that you can pay online. If you are paying by paper check, make the check out Diamond Head Owners Association. Checks can be mailed to MHN Properties at 7300 Blanco Rd. Ste 403 San Antonio, Tx 78231. Please note that payments are considered paid on the date that they are received in the office, not the date mailed. All accounts with a balance on the 16th of the month with be assessed a non-negotiable, non-waive-able late fee of $50.

Q: I am unable to pay the dues by the due date. What are my options?
A: As soon as you realize that you cannot pay your dues on or before the 15th, please call the office at 210-402-9696 and request to speak to Courtney.

Q: I’m thinking about selling my Condo. What are the next steps?
A: First, log into your online ledger and make sure your balance is zero. If not, pay the balance immediately. Once your balance is zero, complete the Resale Certificate Request Form, which can be found on our website and deliver it to our office in person. Please note that both the complete form and full payment must be received before the request is considered complete. Direct questions to Courtney@MHNproperties.com

Q: I want to rent out my condo. What do I need to do?
A: According to the HOA covenants, any unit can be used as a long-term rental unit. However, if you are renting your unit, in order to comply with HOA covenants, you must provide the current lease, the tenants’ contact phone and email and the contact information of the property manager, if applicable.

Q: Can I rent my condo out on Airbnb or as a short-term rental?
A: According to the condo covenants, you may not rent your condo out for a period shorter than one month.

Q: How do I change my contact information?
A: Please complete the contact information change form on our website and send a scanned copy to Frontdesk@MHNproperties.com

Q: How do I receive Association emails and community information?
A: Make sure we have your correct contact information. (See question above.)

Q: I want to modify my home. What do I need to do?
A: Login to your homeowner portal on our website MHNproperties.com Submit a work request with a details of the modification requested, the liability insurance of the vendor doing the work and any relevant photos of materials to be installed. We will review the request and the covenants and reply via email. Please make sure we have your best email.

Q: I have general questions about my Association. Whom do I contact?
A: For any general questions, you can send an email to FrontDesk@MHNproperties.com or call the office at 210-402-9696.

Q: I’d like an additional copy of the covenants. What do I do?
A: Every homeowner receives a copy of the covenants when they purchase their condo. If you’d like an additional electronic copy, please pay the $75 fee at the time of your request. If you’d like a printed copy of the covenants, please pay the $250 fee with your request and the covenants will be ready for pick up after 10 business days.

Q: I’ve noticed a needed repair on the Common Elements of the Condo (Grounds, sidewalks, roofs,
plumbing up into the slab, landscaping, siding, pool, parking areas.)

Q: I have a maintenance issue inside my condo. What should I do?
A: Per the Diamond Head Owners Association Covenants, owners are responsible for repairs within their units. This includes, but it not limited to, plumbing leaks in the walls inside your unit, damage caused by leaks in the roof, or sheet rock repair.

Q: I’d like access to the pool. How can I get a key?
A: Please come into the MHN office, complete a pool key request form and be prepared to pay $25 before receiving the key. (This can be paid online if you have your homeowner portal activated; if not, you’ll have to bring a check or certified funds. We do not accept cash in the office.)

Q: Where is the MHN office located?
A: MHN Properties is located at 7300 Blanco Rd Ste 403, San Antonio TX 78231. Office hours are 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
